The Vienna National Opera is one of the most famous opera houses and is one of the four largest opera houses in the world. It is known as the "World Opera Center" and is the main symbol of the ‘music capitalVienna. In 1861, the famous Austrian architects Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll were designed and built on May 15, 1869. It is located on the ring road in the Old City of Vienna and was originally the Royal Court Theatre. It is located on the ring road in the Old Town of Vienna. The State Opera House is a tall square Roman architecture. It modeled the opera style of the Italian Renaissance. The front door has five arched gates, five arched windows upstairs and five bronze statues of opera goddesses standing in front of the windows. They represent heroism, drama, imagination, art and love. On the top of the gatehouse, stands on both sides are the bronze statues of the gods of theatrical drama riding on the heavens. The walls of the gatehouse depict the highlights of Mozart's last opera "Magic Flute". The restored opera equipment has been completely modernized; it is more suitable for opera performances. There are many oil paintings on the walls of the rest hall and the corridors, drawing the highlights of the most outstanding operas of the most accomplished musicians, including Weber's "Magic Archer" and Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro", "Magic Flute", "Don Juan", Beethoven's "Fidelio", Rossini's "Serbian Barber" and so on.

The entire theater has an area of 96,875 square foot. The auditorium has six floors. There are 1642 seats upstairs and downstairs. There are 567 stations behind and there are more than 100 private rooms on the third floor. The center of the theater is a stage with a total area of 16,231 square foot, including three parts: the front desk, side tables and backstage. The total height of the stage is 53 meters and the depth is 50 meters. The stage can automatically swing, go up or down, and open or close. It can accommodate 110 people. The Opera House has two ballet practice halls and three troupe exercise halls, a 364 square meter rehearsal stage, 10 solo actor practice rooms, a large organ room, and many of actor dressing rooms. The opera house is also equipped with a TV radio studio, which can be photographed in various locations within the theater. The first performance was Mozart's opera Don Juan. The reopening was on November 5, 1955, where Beethoven’s opera “Fiderio” was performed.
