Le Corbusier is famous for his five points of architecture, which are roof grade, horizontal/ ribbon windows, free façade, free plan and pilots. FROM THE FIVE POINTS OF LE CORBUSIER, VILLA SAVOYE HAS SUPPORTING PILOTS, A FREE PLAN, A FREEE FAÇADE, HORIZONTAL RIBBON WONDOES AND A ROOF TOP GARDEN. Pilotis support the decks, ribbon windows run on all four facades privides the feeling of interior and exteriror , ramps connect deck to deck. House is floating above the ground and supported by pilotis, the volume is floating. LL mantainance and service programA MANIFESTO OF PURISM IN ARCHITECTURE Living space closed off. Movement through the spaces  It is not until one becomes familiar with the subtle peculiarities that the movement and proportionality of the spaces evokes a sense of monumentality within the Parisian suburb.[1]  At this point in Le Corbusier’s career, he became intrigued by the technology and design of steamships.  The simplistic, streamlined result born out of innovative engineering techniques and modular design had influenced Corbusier’s spatial planning and minimalistic aesthetic.[2]
